lol hey dstocks...nar u didnt...and ive msged u a couple of times after that too...i think the pm's are down or having trouble...i was like...wats this...dstocks wouldnt ditch me...but um yea....

Sorry, I dont intentionally let them fall through the cracks, im just bloody busy and cant keep up with the volume im currently getting (I think there are a couple more that have fallen through the cracks as well. Oh and I dont get mobile coverage down the coast where I am atm, so no point messaging.
Anyways, im in the process of ding a drivers side repair to a silver FTO now too, so might not have silver. Let me check the shed this arvo and ill get back to you. As to postage, itll be a courier and a little hard so say definitely how much. Ive used smartsend before (
www.smartsend.com) and you can get a quote over the web from them. Just measure up the door and input the values you get. Id be guessing 30kg to be safe.
Now, what internals are you after. You said the glass went as well didnt you. And do you need a lining?. And was there anything else?
Ill take a trip down a little later and get an idea of whats there, but if you could answer the above questions, ill be able to provide a better indication

well my dad jus told me that the interior stuff isnt as important now cause if we cant even get the door on then theres no poin in ordering them...so right now ill jus need the door, it doesnt really matter that its silver cause we r gonna paint over it neway, jus preferably silver...could u make sure that the door comes with that electric cable...bit or watever that plugs into the car...and also the 2 hinges cause i bent mine during the crash
as for the windscreen i still havnt gotten my hands on it yet unless u can suggest someone
thanks

Well ive got one, but I wouldnt recomment transporting it as I have tried and failed in the past. Any windscreen place should be able to handle it (ive had obriens supply and fit one for me in the past under the insurance policy i have with Shannons).

OK, just went down to the shed. Have a purple one with all internals intact including hinges, wiring, glass etc. Will let that go for $120. Am happy to get that as far as Canberra as that is where I work during the first half of the week. You would just choose the freight company of your choice and have them pick up the door from civic (postcode 2612). I will have boxed it up ready to go. Normally all the freight company needs to give you a quote is the 3 dimensions of the door (get out your measure), the weight (im guessing 30kg) and the postcode of the pickup and delivery addresses (pickup would be 2612)
Just let me know if you want to go ahead and give me a couple of days to get it boxed and to work

Yep,
As stated above, go to
www.smartsend.com.au, and enter the information. Youll be going from postcode 2612 (Braddon Canberra) to the postcode of whatever address you specify. Youll need to measure height, width and depth of the door and enter these. Add 5 cm extra to each of the dimensions to cater for the box. I reckon the weight will be about 30kg (I have found this does not make a much of a difference. Enter those and itll give you a price delivered to your door!

135cm x 63cm x 20cm. Sorry, didnt realise you didnt have a car handy. If I has a set of scales, id get an exact weight as well, but dont think that there is much difference between 20kg and 30kg

8 cubic metres... thats 1/4 of a 20ft shipping container lol, you can fit a car or 2 in that space...
8u8813f1uff, just call instant windscreens or obriens for a quote.

The works
The window is wound down, so is nicely protected inside the door. Ill look to getting it down out of the loft of the shed over the weekend and work out how I can wrap it to keep it safe for you. When you give me the go ahead, ill flick you the address in Braddon where it can be picked up from. Would be best to organise for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday next week.
