Shell is the same, chassis is not. EVO chassis has over 200 more spot weld points in the chassis

this is such a good project, i want to do it later down the track when i have some money and time ... need to learn some tig welding techniques though
the guy in the UK doing the fto roadster and AWD conversion has a pretty interesting thread, no doubt you've been through it already ...
simon, i know a guy that may be selling his evo 4 soon but yeh your probably best off trying to find a damaged one ...
let me know if your interested and i can have a talk to him

interesting.......
i think bar the cost of the motor and if running FWD still then it would be much simpler to drop in the evo motor than the 6a13?? not to mention much more space in the bay
but i'm guessing you want to go AWD Simon

Hehe, i mean not for as it wont be a gpx for long. It will be GPEVO lol.
Price range? well i would pay 3.5k max for front cut plus drive train (but obviously dont need any panels headlights etc etc) and 5k for above plus floor pan.

I'm sure you've no doubt come across this, but thought I'd post anyways..

best thread EVER on this stuff..
you might be best off trying to find a damaged (Full) Evo for this .. never know what extra parts you might need .. & you can always sell the rest of the parts / panels / interior .. I'm sure you'd have no drama's finding buyers..
