Is it Safe to leave CAT convertor loose?

What title says, any dangers of leaving your CAT loose? like not super loose but enough soo air escapes ....

the sound is soo addictive, i was louder than a truck :lol:

hey my cat still have honeycombs in it okay :P
the bloody o2 sensor ... i dont know how to remove it anyway. :cry:

well im guessing its an offence to leave cat loose?

If the cat drops out, then the front of the rear exhaust section drops & hits the road, you could be in for some good clean car catapult action. Hope you got a roll cage.

Thats why rear wheel drive cars that run quarter miles have to have tail shaft braces.

also add that when sitting at the lights all the gasses will be coming strait in to the car and befor you now it you feel like having a little sleep as you are still trying to drive :?

If you would like it louder then just change the back muffler job done.

Just put a new gasket on the rear of the cat but cut a bit out of it first so it leaks. CAT wont fall off and if you get pulled say it just blew and you haven't been home to change it yet.

Okay, a couple of dollars for a gasket is much cheaper but you may want to start saving for a new exhaust ;)

lol i already done that, and its sounds stock ... soo i just leave the cat on with 2 nuts (semi tight)

slows my car down like a bitch though ... deffinately a new cat next weekend
