fark...i was turning out of a T intersection yesterday and i looked to my left, it was a bend so i coudlnt see properly, there was a 4wd comin towards me but was slowing down, i thought they were gonna turn left into the T so i went forward, turned out they were going straight and it collided with my right side
my right door is completely gone and theres remarkable damage to the front and back end of the right side,
my panel beater said to me thats its gonna cost more than 7k to fix it, fark man...if only i was more careful,
do you guys reckong if i could get a door that it might be cheaper to fix? this is my first car and i really dont want to let it go

Ouch.. sorry to hear.
If you're after a door, check in the parts for sale section, some guy was selling a lot of parts off his FTO, with doors listed for a few hundred bucks.
Although I don't think just replacing the door is going to save you much money. Your best option is probably selling functioning parts off the car

you accident description doesn't make sense. i'm assuming the 4WD was coming from your right (not your left as it sounded in your description), sorry just an occupational thing with me lol
Mate do you have insurance?
and if it is really 7K worth of dmg, it might not be able to repair that car. where abouts are you, maybe someone in your area can point you to a good panel beaters.
good luck with it all

If your A or b pillar is damaged mate I dunno what they could do. We really need those pics as others have said.

that sucks balls bro. I had a similar incident last year but we both braked in time so damage was minimal ie. A small scratch on my front left wheel arch to the head light.
Hopefully we can save you a few grand here

i dunno if they will allow it ...but dad says if we can just get the frame to be moulded back correctly...he can hopefully help me save money by installing the windscreen and door ourselves...and some other dents and stuff we can just ignore...
do you guys think panel beaters will allow that?
i really dont wanna lose my fto

Well all we need is just pictures to be able to give advise. If the damage is so bad that the car would not be roadworthy then u have a problem here. Im sure Dstocks might be able to come up with a few parts at a cheaper price but again...pictures.

unfortuneately thats not my car BorepYano, my car is in a lot worse condition...dunno if you can see these images ...but yea
all i want to do, is have the panel beaters straighten the pillars and the rest ill do myself like putting in a new door...banging dents out...replacing windscreen...paintjob, i already told them that but they still tell me that its gonan cost way more than the car's worth
but it looks like ill have to sell it to a wreckign yard...prob get a few hundred if im lucky

Someone on here will pay a lot more than few hundred. dont sell it too a wrecking yard.
Theres seems to be a lot of structual damage and i can easily agree that it will cost anywhere from 3-5k and just for what you are wanting.

well im not in a rush to sell it to the wrecking yard just yet, im still waiting on the quote of how much its gonan cost...they said they are gonan do a full repair quote for me atm and then work back...like deduct parts costs since ill supply the parts...if i can...
but all in all they said the repairs are gonan cost 7k easy
if i can get it repaired for 3-5k then ill be very happy

Well, ill let go of a door for $80 (im sure I have a silver one). Freight will add to that, but thats a start
