HARDEN
I was born in Harden (Harden NSW) and that bloody doesnt help :x.

I can walk around in the middle of winter with a T shirt, but summer kills me every time. The thermometer down below the greenhouse was reading 52 degrees this afternoon. Now I know it wasnt quite that hot (it must be having an off day), but still...

DOnt tell me to harden up if all of you are sitting in A/C comfort. Im running off solar and a generator. A/C suck too much power. Not possible to run them. If I could run them, id already have one. Maybe thatll ellicit a little more sympathy......

I have had the air con on all day ... Actually a little cold now, so might turn it off...

But was out in the sun doing some gardening and general tidy up of the back yard.. Even mopping inside with the a/c on made me work up a sweat ... But Bourbon and beer have helped me cool back sown ...

Actually been looking at some of the fire stories coming in from VIC. You guys down there are really getting hammered atm. My thoughs go out to anyone in the path of those monsters. Based on the last 3 weeks up here, I have some comprehension of what if feels like.
digging a hole for the new pool
Nah, the tractor will do a good job of that. Want to put in a dam, but they are rather costly. If I do it on the slope where the bonfire was, ill cost 5K. Im thinking on the creek flat, but would need to bring in some loads of clay or the water would run straight out the bottom. Other problem with this is that it would probably not get filled when it rained. Would have to fill by pump.

your lucky mate... My uncle who lives down in marysville VIC lost everything from the fires. They just heard about it in the news last night... The whole town was wiped out and i think 9ppl dead. In that town alone.

He had 10000cash in his house because he couldnt bank it being a pensioner and his turbo ford is gone. Luckily he brought the r33 and the merc up here or those would of been gone too.

They are fully insured and sh*t but its the worst thing that can happen
