Just bought some rpw extractors and wondering if it was worth wraping them before i put them on. Anyone know much about this or has anyone done this before and seen any benefits

Yeah...better wrap it up as it can adversely affect performance.

 but seriously, its fairly common practice these days in turbo applications. the fto would benefit from something like these products as well due to the amount of heat produced and not such a great airflow through the engine bay due to how cramped it is under there.

I only wrap the flex pipe section near the cat... to stop it cavatating during deceleration.
