My little FTO video

Finally got the FTO back - Mechanics dropped a washer into the engine whilst it was running.
Anyhoo after they did a full rebuild and added in all the nice stuff, like forged pistons, bored it out, custom made exhaust, CAI etc...15K worth of work, all for FREE....after its 1st crucial service this is the result.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=is5zq9suiCU
They told me to check out the MIVEC now that its done so apart from checking out the rev limiter, and accelerating from 0 -60kms...i babied it from 60km up to the speed limit and will continue to baby it...not a hoon and want the car long term because god i love FTO's
Next is a decent body kit and paint job...thinking about braided leads under the hood, but heard they can overheat the car badly...will the CAI help combat this - advice VERY welcome
Hope to see the VIC guys at the next meet

your car sounds mad.. i'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of your new engine ..
I reckon if any VIC members are looking for a mechanic, this is where you should be taking your car.. yeah they made a mistake, but they are trustworthy & took responsibility for it which is the most important thing .. so many others would deny it & leave you up sh*ts creek.. not to mention all the extra crap they threw in for the inconvenience of being without a car while they were doing the work .. whoever runs the place deserves a frickin knighthood (or at least a shiny gold star) as far as I'm concerned..
besides.. you never know when they might do the same thing again

somthing tells me that they won't be doing the same thing again
but I would recomend them to any one as well that needed work done

as said its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic.

aye .. and ..even if they weren't before, they've got to be FTO geniuses by now..
