2009 ANNUAL INTERSTATE CRUISE - **23rd OCT-26th OCT**

by I8A4RE
It's time we planned the annual interstate cruise to Coffs Harbour.
Last year was absolutely brillant and a great time had by all.
Some of the activities included:
jet ski-ing
drinking
all night poker
dinner
pool
feeding and patting all sorts of animals
some more drinking
FTO's
swimming
carnival/amusement rides (god dam carnie folk)
the big bannana
and my personnal favourite, ................ GO KART DRIFTING.
Me and Al (AJ) have looked at the calander and at the moment June looks about the right time to do it, however that is not set in stone.
Now this does not have to be an expensive cruise, sure you have petrol but last year my accomodation cost me $32 for 2 nights and the place had an inground pool straight outside my bedroom door and the beach was across the road

. You do as much or as little as you like and i am sure if we get a good number we will definitly get some excellent deals.
Any other questions please feel free to ask.
Heres the list:
1. Simon (I8A4RE)
2. Al (AJ)

Al will be putting up a link in the NSW section, as I will be putting one up in the QLD section. All states are free to come, we would love too see you's, however we know the trip could be too big of a hike.
PS. heres some pics of last cruise

I cant wait for this trip, from the pictures it looks like it was heaps of fun.
Im undecided between June or July for a few reasons. 1. I would rather avoid school holidays which will mean less police. 2. Off peak prices will be cheaper and might get a better turn out of members. 3. My birthday is in July which would give us an excuse to get really drunk
Heres the list:

2. Al (AJ)
3. Jamie

yeah probably want to avoid school hoildays. Ill take a look at that tomorrow.
And on a side note last year we left early saturday morning and arrived home 7pm on monday, ready for work on the tuesday and that was perfect and only cost me one day of annual leave. I was going to plan this one over queens bday but again want to get the best deal so best try to avoid that weekend as well

hey man so do you guys cruise down from brisbane to coffs harbour and then meet all the sydney guys their. give me some more info about it as it will cost me abit to get the car shipped down their. But i would love to come just need kinda dates earlier than most lol.
need info like how long this goes for and stuff.
if it goes for the weekend i might cruise back up to qld with you all and then stay around and have a 2 week holiday, seeing the sites.

Yes as said in my previous post, goes for weekend sat, sun, mon. However people can make it as long or as short as they want. We meet the sydney guys in coffs which is about a 5.5hr drive from gold coast and sydney, so its about half way.
We will have a date established within the next week or so

If I have my FTO in a state that I'm comfortable with driving that far in, I'd love to make it. If I can afford it and can talk Garth into it, I'll be there.

yeah man, that was so wicked. I cant believe how worried we were to sit in the seats, with a little bit of dirty water in the bottom

When by the end of it we were covered from head to toe. Easily the best go-karting i have ever done.
