I'm looking at replacing the bulky door-mounted side mirrors with carbonfibre racing items shown below:
So how do i remove the side mirrors, and does anybody know how many bolts hold the factory mirrors onto the door? I'll be ricing it up again so i might cover up the excess holes with stickers instead of going thru the expense of patching it up and resraying again...

geez... you and bloody carbon fibre!

(said in jest)
I reckon you'd wear carbon fibre undies if they made them!
On a serious note, talk to Foulz as he changed his.

its so easy, u push the button to fold your mirrors and then there should be two screws....its as easy as that.

I used to have those mirror (small like the ones for big bike) fitted to the black triangle plastic. Too small to check the view, and was also worry about possible defect, coz it's quite obvious. There were holes exposed from original mirror location. I got rid of them, and get the stock ones on.

from memory, when u unscrew the mirror, pull it out and i think there is a plug for the wires......if not u might need to take off the dorr trim and look under there....
