ok.. this problem ive had since the day i drove it home...
my brake lights got out and what i first thought was just needing new light bulbs was in fact a bigger problem
i have to constantly change the '15' fuse in the box in the engine bay because it randomly decides to blow.

now- i know its not the brake switch... i have a feeling i know whats happened because i called the guy who i purchased the car from and he said that he never had the problem (i have my reasons that i do in fact believe him)

the guy used to use the car for show (audio n visual) n i have a lot (a LOT) of cables runnignt hrough my car n when i got it from him he remmoved the sub cables... now, i dont know if this is far fetched but could it be that when he pulled the sub cables they were connected to the same fuse cable as my brakes n maybe he left some cable exposed n its earthing somewhere?!

sorry for the essay but i have to get this prob sorted next year n i knwo auto techs are expensive especially when they have to find the problem.. HELP

mmm....from what i know...the sub only has wires hooked on the amp....unless he did somethin else Lol?

It could be the case ... I had a pinched wire from a stereo install, and it kept blowing the fuse for the electronic windows...

So yeah, if it is only starting after he has done that, then it is the safest bet ... I am not sure how you could find exactly where it is though .. You would need a DMM, and would need to measure what the output is doing ...

Have you added anything to the car, that could be increasing the amp's that you are putting through that loop ... That could be another reason... I guess....

the only thing i added was the sub and 4 channel amp i had from my old car... my 2nd cousin does audio installation for a job so he put it in for me.

sorry for sounding ignorant- whats a DMM? im going to assume its a thing u measure volts with? on the right path?

You are on the right track ... A Digital Multi Meter...

im learning *taps noggen* i thought i was in the land of pixies because of my hypothesis but im glad its actually happened to someone else-- i dont feel so goofy

I think rock_it is on the money there. Most likely a pinched wire somewhere. You may wanna just loosen your brake light cluster just a little and see if the wires there are pinched against the bracket.

Or maybe the sub cable ends are touching?
