what the hell

is that inside the lights ?
if so you will need to open them back up and get the wet and dry papper out
better yet see if you can get some other covers from some place and replace them.
see how you go any way.
I would try to clean the out side first and see how that works.

try the glue remover first. wiht any luck and a bit of elbow grease you might be able to get all the glue off without sanding and buffing.
and yeah mate, wtf did you do, it looks like you just... wipe the inside of the lights a clothe covered with glue...
good luck with buying just the covers, cos they are what breaks easiest, try dstocks i guess?

I think its coz i wiped the inside of the lens with car wash on a cloth then rinsed it lazyly with coupla bits of chux with water on it..
Bad choice i think, i'll fix it 2morrow hopefully!

Bummer dude, i taped around the seals till i got back to coffs then put the sealant on, don't put a waterproof sealant on it makes gas and residue in the headlight!!
Note to anyone who does angel eyes in the future.. I got them open using a hairdryer its so much easier and less worrying than baking them in the oven!!!!!!! So borrow one off your girlfriend.
I've cleaned the inside of the perspex and starting on other parts of the light, gotta love metho it cleans real good.. and burns your throat

nah jks

lol funny but i feel 4 ya ...turn your oven on 100degre and stick your head lights in there for 10 minutes , pull them out n they seperate by hand ( thats how i painted the inside of my head lights )

that does look bad. Is that just residue or is it fogged up because it isnt sealed properly?

Yep, that about what I did with mine too. And then if they are out for too long before you put them back together, chuck them back in the oven for another 10 minutes before squeezing back together.

i doubt that i sealed it up with a waterproof sealant i think it was a vapour that filled the light because i didn't give it all time to cure before putting it on the car and leaving it in the hot sun!
Yeah done it fine getting them apart in over a good 3-4 times now but used the hairdryer this time and got both out in under 10mins with less hassle.
Just an update they are clearing up pretty well im borrowing some plastic and perspex cleaning stuff off my uncle since he sells all that stuff and giving it a good clean and putting things back together over the next coupla days im definately waiting for all the glues for eyes and stuff to cure before wacking it back together now!!!
