Thanks, it's worth a shot. Though, I think it would be much cheaper to find one in Vic and pick it up myself, but you never know

alright, anybody else? toy shop wanted 2k for an engine -- didnt even get to discuss shipping..
Cheapest I've found so far is 1,450.. what should I be expecting to pay?

I wouldnt be paying anything over 1k. I have seen quite a few on ebay going for 400-500 bucks

yeah, that's what I would have thought. I really expected only to have to pay 800 + freight as a max. Maybe the timing is just bad

do you need jsut the motor no wiring loom as i will have one for sale with in the next few weeks or maybe a month away

yeah, just the motor. its replacing my existing one so no looms or ecu needed.. well, let me know when you're ready. I'm hoping to find one quicker, but we'll see how it goes.

Hey bud mine will be out shortly buddy. I just need to know if you still have the old motor as you will need to take some parts off you old motor and put on my motor. This is because I need some stuff to complete my 6a13tt conversion.
Parts I am using are
Throttle postion sensor
Aircon compressor
Sandwhich plate between gearbox and motor and the thermostat were you pour coolant in man.
You can have the motor for 400 plus freight I also have wow wee asking about it 2 man

yep, still got the old motor so parts arnt an issue. if it's still for sale consider it sold, and pm me with the details for money etc

well mate can u wait like a few weeks as the motor is still in my car and needs to be removed when i start the conversion or do you need it asap?

ok that is good man I am going to see my mechanic today to see when I can book my car in to take the motor out
