does anyone no where i can get one of those carbon fibre centre pieces from the ones for around the a/c, sterio etc...

If you want full carbon fibre, there was a group buy done a while back (a couple of years ago now I think), but I dont know where they got the work done.

If you want the dipped carbon fibre (which looks the same, but is just a coating), the dashboard centre in melbourne do that (www.dashboardcentre.com.au). I believe there is a place called modicoat or something up in QLD too.

The disadvantage with the full carbon fibre is you loose the clips that hold in the surround and you lose the ashtray. The disadvantage with the coating is that it isnt as strong as the other, so you have to be gentle with it when you are removing/replacing it.

was the Melbourne place the place you used for the blue Carbon you got done a while ago Dstocks?

Are you still using those or did you remove them?

If your not using them was it because of quality issues or you just decided not to go with that look?
