DEFECTIVE VEHICLE NOTICE ( DECC) HELP !!

Hi, need a stock exhaust system PLUS airfilter A.S.A.P ! 27th i will be DEFECTED Please Pm me If you have any ideas or can help!

what exactly was the defect for mate?
Where are you located?
If you got done for a pod filter not being in a box just do a search on cold air setups and you'll see a bunch of different setups people are using to put their filter in a box.
On the exhaust front you should still be okay with a non standard exhaust as long as it has a CAT in goot condition and is not too loud. If it is too loud I'd be going to an exhaust shop and seeing if they can fit a resonator for you. They should be able to help you on the CAT front as well.

Go to the supermarket (or whatever you guys call them over there) and get a can of beans as close to the size of your tailpipe as you can. Cut the top of the can, eat the beans, clean out the can and fit it into your tailpipe to cut down on the noise.

agreed, but he won't clear a defect with that. It will just make things worse. For a registered car over here you can't have anything that adjusts the loudness of your exhaust. Means the extra screw in things for the apexi exhausts is a defectectable item as well as newer non stock exhausts with electronic adjusting of baffles in the muffler.
Not to mention I don't think the cops would be overly happy with a can hanging off your tip, not that it stops excel owners and their milo tins
