Mate I hate to be the one too tell you this but that doesnt mean you have a LSD. By the sounds of it you dont.

whattt, everywhere iv read including your posts bennoz when i swearched, if you spin one wheel forward while both are off the ground the other should spin in the same direction and you cant stop it. The mechanic showed me a couple other FWD cars that were off the ground when he spun one wheel the others didnt move and if they were in gear the otehr would spin but you could stop it easily. My car you couldnt stop at all. Oh and we did this while the car was in neutral.

so what do you guys think.
oh and from factory what gear box oil did they put in th gpVr?

Well i may be wrong (but i doubt it

)
Both my GR and GPX (with LSD) spin the wheels when off the ground. The difference between them is the lsd box is that it doesnt spin as easy (you have to use some mussle behind it) where as the GR spins easy as.
Find the gearbox number and someone with caps can check it out for you

Maybe we can figure this out easily, as I8AFRE said the chassis number will tell you if you have a LSD box. Although this won't tell you anything if you have an aftermarket LSD. I've found there isn't really anyway to test for LSD's easily without it on a workbench out of the gearbox so I though of trying to collate what we all know and try to sort something out.
Please input experience and knowledge here

My concern is a little more on the side of testing for those of us with LSD's that might be concerned they are not working properly.

the best way to test to see if you have lsd is in your drivway smoke up the tyres and see if you get two lines if you do then you have lsd

If you got an LSD doesn't the wheel spin the other way when it's jacked up? As in, spin one forward, other goes backwards = LSD. No movement or both go same way = Non-LSD.
Or if both go same way and you can't stop it, wouldn't that mean locker? Then again, the likelihood of a locker on a FWD car is 0.
One way to tell for sure, pull over to the side of the road with one wheel on some grass or gravel, put your foot down, if the wheel on grass spins and the outer wheel doesn't do anything, then open diff. If the outer wheel bites and either spins or pulls you nicely (depends on how hard you gun it) then you have an LSD...
