Been spending a bit of time building an airbox for Aza. Thought id chuck up a few pictures. Is 2 layers of sheet metal with insulating foam inbetween (Similar to the one I built for myself not too long ago). Needs a good poilsh (or paint) yet, but then thats what Aza excells at ;)

:rambo:

The problem I have at the moment is the sheer amount of time one of them takes to make. There is about 15 hours work in what you see there. Probably not quite so much if I was to do it again as I have kept a template (although I havent done a tip setup yet - that would need to be different). I could do the outside box in a reasonable timeframe maybe. Its the inside thats a bitch. Maybe I could just line it with foam and leave it at that. Im also doing it with a pair of hand held tin snips, so that slows me down a bit too. Ill think on it......
