Ok i had trouble with my car going into limp mode i checked the error codes and there is no errors on the ecu.. When the mechanic took my car for a drive he notice that somtimes it clunks going into a gear. So i am back and he recomened i keep driving the car until it goes into limp mode again and drive it to his place and scan for error codes again.. So i am just curious could this be a electrical problem causing it to go into limp mode or is it the gear box? The car has gone into limp mode twice in 2 weeks just seems odd how it is intermident,

First off the only way to remove error codes is to reset the ecu.
Second, when you first posted your problem myself and someone else suggested you replace the oil,. Have you done this? I think that will solve your problem straight away

that is what i thought but according to the mechanic who scanned the ecu it came up with no error codes.. The oil was changed only a month ago so it cant be that and the oil isnt burnt and still has a nice clean colour to it.. Or maybe the mechanic put the wroung oil in the transmition i dno.

Tell me when you say it goes into limp mode. Does the "n" flash?

The "N" flashes and it is stuck in 3rd gear. The only way i have been able to get ithe car out of limp mode is too turn the car off and back on again.Once i do that the car is fine.

Well my way of thinking, is either your using wrong type of a/t fluid or there is another issue like a blockage in the oil lines to the radiator or the oil pump is rooted etc etc
