service problem

hello guys~I am thinking to change engine oil~which one should i use? 5w/40,10w/40 or mechanician suggested me to use 5w/35..

I recomend 10w-40. Theres no need for 5w in australia but im sure KJ will disagree with me

haha no the other kj lol.
5w is for f**ken cold conditions. If the weather gets below -5, then i would use 5w but does anywhere in au get that cold????

10W/40. if you are DIY and change oil every 5000k, get Castrol Magnetic 10W/40. Cheap and good enough.

im gonna change my oil this friday and putting in castrol magnatec
i got recommended 15W40 from all the places ive asked

were do you live. I would NOT be usuing 15w unless you lived in darwin

Yep, here in Canberra. We get a few -8 to minus 10 every year
