Just need to vent a little bit. So i'm at work today and go to my car to go get lunch when I noticed my car's been fkn sideswiped at the front. No witnesses, no note nothing. WTF is wrong with ppl!!!

Thats fucked up....is there any cameras in the area ? like is it a carpark etc ? cos if it is you should be able to get video footage then give the plates to the cops to find for you.

Yeah there's camera's outside but doesn't cover where we park. f**king idiot ppl. No pics cos my mob's fucked atm. Inspected it properly and looks like theres no dents on the body, just scratches. ffs

If its a work carpark then someone should have a matching scrap...

or the scrap might also have left some paint from the other car... that would tell u something as well

the same thing happened to my boyfriends car last weekend! he was parked on the side of the road but it was inside that line thats there for ppl to park. he had bought it just a few days before as well! the indicators broken plus a huge piece of the panel was ripped off. the other car left half their hubcap plus red scratches on the paint. (Not an fto by the way). and no comprehensive insurance either.

Yeah, wasn't a work carpark but is pretty much outside my building. I checked all the other cars but nothing. Lucky for the person who hit me though because I bruised my hand on the tree i laid into, not their face if I found them. Honestly don't get people these days, no decency. I've worked in customer service for a while and can't believe the way some people are these days. Honestly is getting worse and worse!

Ah well. Sucky thing is I get my c/f boot tomorrow so when one positive thing happens, one bad happens .

What kinda scratches ? Very light scratches where the other left their paint on your car ? Or your car's paint has been slightly marred or a combination of both ?

If it's any of the above, chances are you can restore it to perfect or near perfect condition with some simple paint cleaner and a pad plus maybe a quick machine buff.

If it's anything like that, you can pm me and i've got some equipment to do it.

If it's deeper e.g. down to primer etc, it can still be reduced quite considerably by going over with a machine.

I know how you feel. I used to work in customer service too and some people are complete fucks. Where I used to park to, my car has taken a lot of bumps and bangs. The passenger door is covered with minor dents, scratches and paint marks from cock smokers opening there doors onto mine. I take such good care of my car yet its other dipshits who mark and scratch it up.

oh sh*t thats the worst same thing happened to my cuzn's soarer. parked at the city for 5mins to get some coffee and when we came back someone had keyed the car in 5 different places and it had just got a new metalic grey paintjob! no witnesses and the only camera that caught footage had a scratch on the lens so we couldnt see the people properly

I've had the mirrors on my sedan kicked off 3 times now, attempted the FTO, but luckily there tough and the alarm went off; didn't stop them kicking the door.

I agree, people are getting worse, I have now changed jobs as I can no longer stand customer service myself.

Delvance it's a combo of both. Had a proper inspection in the sunlight and none seem to be down to the primer so I'm guessing they'll buff out with a professional cut and polish. Still annoying as fck though.

The stories being posted here are pretty shocking, like my topic says, honestly wtf is wrong with ppl.....

Yep ppl are *~delightful!~*... like i said...someone bump parked my fto. And a couple of weeks ago, some arsehat opened their door into my riceline (doesn't help that it's so fat though...)

Anyways, seeing as the damage is quite light (i.e. not down to primer). If you're able to make it to my area, i'll get rid of them for free. I do detailing so yeah..

Would love to take you up on the offer but I'm in brisbane, but if I'm ever down that way with my car I'll take you up on your offer. Pin dents and scratches from idiots opening their doors happens so often here, especially around an area called sunnybank.... Fkn spastic ppl
