Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
Had her all dyno'ed up again yesterday, Was 212kws when I first rolled up (this is on Envys dyno, not Todas) and was 224kws when done. So the bigger TB was good for 12kws
As a result of the bigger TB, it was running super lean below 3,500rpm. I also had a couple of flat spots & an annoying jerk that happened at about 2,500rpm when you lightly get off then back on the throttle, but a quick fiddle with the injector phase angles sorted that out. Also dialled in some more timing up top, so it doesn't drop off as bad at around 6500-7000k when it runs off cam range. I do have about a pound, pound & a half boost loss thanks to the addition of the blow off valve, but I'm told that's normal. Unfortunately my little tubs can't be wound up any further to compensate.
Forgot to even grab a dyno printout, its done so god damned many lol
And just to say thank you to me, it spat the PS/AC belt on the way home

300hp, true!
Yeah be up for a 1/4 mile for sure. Last 3 times I've gone to go, its rained lol. And I kinda like those nights where it rains a bit, then clears up, cause there's no one there & you get heaps of runs in!

How many of the Leggu boys are on to doing the TB upgrade I wonder! lol.
Meanwhile, definitely not a factory bolt on job.

Actually, the thread I started over on ozvr4 went on for pages The bigger TB was available apparently on the facelifted, blah blah blah, series blah model of the Leggy from the factory.Astron_Boy wrote:How many of the Leggu boys are on to doing the TB upgrade I wonder! lol.

None with this setup, last run I did was with the gas on the GR motor, ran a 14.9.spetz wrote:What kind of 400m runs have you done previously?

Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
Figured out what caused the belt spit, idler pulley almost seized. Finally figured out how to press the bearing out rather than having to replace the whole thing

So whats been happening in here?
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Great work Ben.
What is the cost difference between getting a hole new setup versus just the bearing?

Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
Went to both my bearing guys & neither could help me lol. Its a proprietary bearing made by Koyo for Misti. So I'm getting a quote on a new one from Ralliart NZ.
Mitsi Australia want $170 & Camskill dont even list them (unless I'm blind)
