So i changed my plugs and leads and found two of my s/plugs were covered in oil, could it be the piston rings? prior to changing plugs car was so gutless my mums rolla was faster!! once changed car ran fine for like a day now is crap again, not blowing any smoke. not chewing oil, but can feel flatspots when driving it struggles to get to 60ks! its all noise

oh and did a vacume test and was really low like 16-17! just wondering if any one can help.? thanks

nuh doubt its the piston rings mate its the spark plug seals/gaskets you can get them form mitsu aus for 16 dollars a gasket common part with lancers looks like both those seals/gaskets need to be changed.

do you mean the metal seals on the spark plugs themselves?? the new ones should have seals fitted. i never saw plugs without seals before
