The Ute

Well, heres the original pics:
Decided to straighten it up a bit before moving onto the modification. First, removed a few panels. Got got a little surprise:
Yep, i have me a trust oil transmission cooler.
Now I thought I had a bent chassis at the front. I would be wrong
And about 30 minutes on the back and it now looks like this:

Have a white panel to replace the silver one with as well
Going to start fabricating a tailgate next...... Will update the thread when ive achieved a bit more

damaged... Otherwise id be selling them. All 4 have gouges from where they collected the gutter. I wouldnt be surprised if at least one of them is bent.
Didnt seem to shudder whn I took it for a spin today though. Good enuf for the ute

wow dstocks thats amazing... that fto was in worst condition than my fto now and now its straighter thanks mine... was that the original bmper from the first pic and u just straighten it out or did u replace the whole back bumper...? hehe... that fto has the same panel damages too to my fto ..rear and driver side fender.. and front bumper... lolz
i forgot to ask ya...do u have a spare foglight/blinker unit for the driver side? mine is crushed and itsheld together by cable tie..lolz
oh and dad said we'll just drive down and get everything on the weekend!!
but i spoke to my friend and her boyfriend lives at canberrra and he'scoming up here in narellan on tuesday and she said if u live near by he mite be able to pick up the stub axle and lower arm so mayb u could pm me your adress in canberra and i'll ask him if he can pick it up but otherwise me and dad will just get everything on the weekend...

Holy crap, for a few hours work that's one hell of a result, actually seems sad its gonna get cut up, with a lick of paint and a good clean, that's worth buying.

Havent put it under the knife just yet. Started the tailgate on the weekend as well. Have cut it out of the other white FTO. Hopefully will have enough done next weekend to post up a couple more pics

Sorry to post of topic, but was just wondering what your plans were for the exhaust dstocks and if the one that was on this car (hks) is still gonna be up for sale?? PM was sent a while ago but got no reply, was just wondering what your plans are. Thanks mate

Yep, will be up for sale and youve got first dibs. Just as an aside, It sounds great. Took it for a bit of a rap last weekend. Just need the time to pull it out and repalce with one of the others I have lying around.
