Hey guys,

As you're all aware, I blown my motor up. After much deliberation with my mechanic, its been decided that the cheapest option for me (along with the bigger horsepower option) is to dump a 6A13 in off the shelf. The price of rebuilding my motor vs the risk of a cheap second hand 6A12 just isnt worth it.

Now im not going into details here as to how Im gonna do it, so please dont post "Oh cool man, how kws at the wheels?" "But the rear turbo wont fit against the firewall" "Will it bolt to the original mounts?" type questions.

At this stage I just need to find a motor. So, if you would all be so kind as to keep an eye out for one, it would be much appreciated.

It needs to be within Australia, it need to be around the 60km old mark. I need motor (including turbo's & manifolds), loom & ECU. No gearbox needed, but if it comes as a package I'll consider it depending on price.

So if know where you can find one, or a wrecker / ebay source / mate that has one, please post up the details here. Im just starting to ring every wrecker with 'Jap' in the name from the phonebook.

My biggest issue at the moment is that I have no wheels! There's only so many cab rides I can bodge onto the work Amex without raising an eyebrow or 2 in accounts
