Hey does anyone have any knowledge about this?

I know that if it is true, all the manufacturers would start using this but... apparently there are many articles all around that supports with this...

Strangely enough, everyone involved in developing this suffered rather nasty oil related deaths...

And that's not to say they accidently drowned in a vat of oil...

the engine in my pathfinder runs on water.

not really, it cracked the head and drained its whole cooling system through the exhaust in 10 minutes or less without losing power funnily enough. f**k i hate that thing.

It's funny how I just came across this thread. I've been having a massive debate with heaps of people regarding getting small amounts of water through your intake and into your cylinders.

Scary thing is I've googled this heaps and have not come up with anything that says bad things about getting tiny amounts of water in your engine. It's bad for your oil circulation but if it gets in the chamber itself...it seems ok, if not better.

Reason this was brought up is that there was also a debate on this forum about keeping water out of your intake if getting a scooped bonnet. Have a read of this:

turbo's have been using water injection for many yrs now. helps them with detenation
