Just get a professional roll cage person to fit it in the car and ask them for papers to vouch that its been installed properly and legally ... and yeah, bens right, its gotta be padded. But you wont need it criss ... unless you drive like you've just robbed a bank and being chased by 6 swat S.you.Vs around corners
a good strut bar cost around 300, why not pay more for a ultimate onebushido wrote:just take your rear seats out, carpet and get some strut bars.

I have to get my car put in for the race harness and change the specs from a 4 seater to a 3 seater and then no cop can fine me.
after you do that... can you legally wear it instead of the normal seat belt?aza013 wrote:I will be ringing up an engineer tomorrow so I will ask for you if you would like![]()

yep, the engineers will put it all in and then I take it over to get a blue slip for the RTA and all done.jonowong wrote:after you do that... can you legally wear it instead of the normal seat belt?aza013 wrote:I will be ringing up an engineer tomorrow so I will ask for you if you would like![]()

If you completely roll the car (like the cages are meant to protect) without wearing a helmet, you will die.I8A4RE wrote:Sorry to burst all your bubbles but im 99% sure they are illegal in all states and NZ. As ben said only HALF cages are allowed and the reason being is because in a crash you probably wont be wearing a helmet and will smash your head on the cage killing yourself or serious brain damage
i think criss is going to use that idea nowthe_msta_chizz wrote:If you completely roll the car (like the cages are meant to protect) without wearing a helmet, you will die.I8A4RE wrote:Sorry to burst all your bubbles but im 99% sure they are illegal in all states and NZ. IMHO, head on metal > crushed spine
And i think he would put some foam or something on it anyway?
I know i would..
Bright Pink foam on your roll cage.
Can't get any more manly than that.
