I had the same problem, in the mean time till u get a replacement pulley loosen the tension on the belt by loosening the idler pulley till when u get to full lock it squeaks thats stopped mine shredding belts till i get the part to fix it!!

The idler pulley is the one Bennoz is referring to in the thread you posted, but not the bit pictured. I can get the other pulley as well, but dont have a price for it atm. Will ask for a quote on that part as well.

The last idler pulley cost $72.42 to get to me. Id be guessing at about $15 postage to WA, but couldnt be sure until I got dimensions and weight.

No not yet it just shredded another belt after 1.5 months of being nice n not shredding. I suspect the harmonic balancer since its wobbling around a bit which is not normal as far as i know! 8O
Will let u know when i work it out, sounds like u've got the same damn problem.

Just having a look at this and there doesnt seem to be any rubber involved in the crank pulley:

Still going to send through a request to get a quote. Found out tonight that Japan are on holliday this week, so may take a few days t a week to come back.

2nd hand one $30 + postage from me to you. New one $70 + postage from Japan (postage depends on weight and dimenstion of box it comes over in and how many other items are in the box. the last one of these i bought for someone ended up costing about $10 to get it to Australia and then another $10 to post from me to him.
