Moving into my new house in a month or two, seriously considering buying this! I rekon its wicked! and for $200 odd not a bad price. What do you guys reckon?

i didn't read 2 much about it but hes got a good point there, maybe if you had the normal lock + fingerprint lock it would be 99% safe

If its a pure finger print reader, then yeah, not so safe. If its truly boimetric, then you'll be fine. Even if someone kills you & cuts off your finger, it still wont work.

same as any lock, if they wanna break in they just smash a window.
this is a world of paranoia, just a simple alarm will deter most people, they just go to the next house in the street that has no alarm.

Why are you buying it? cause you think its safer or cause you always lock yourself outside. If its the later then yeah good idea, if its for increased security then i totally agree with the above

lol iam not worried about security at all! its just for the its different factor and can't be bothered using the key like say iam in my car, engine is running, my house keys are attached to my car keys, dont wanan shut the engine off and take the keys out again to get inside the house.

the security system is pretty wicked, 24/7 video surveilance all around the house, monitored by a dedicated security firm should a break in occur, 2 stage alarm occurs, 1 is the silent alarm, send outs to the police and then security, the 2nd is the loud flashing alarm. So no iam not interesting in buying that for security purpose. And yes it is truly a biometric lock. It can also be used for safe's.

SImple...dunt attach yeah house keys with yeah car keys. Jus leave them in the glove compartment in the car. Lesser to carry in yeah pocket anyway.

all theyd have to do to unlock it. is spray some hairspray on the handle steal your fingerprint from it using a clear plastic film press it against the scanner and bang your in .

Doesn't work.

Now, Carbone powder & normal see-through tape works great

Doesnt it need a heat print as well?? the finger print scanner on my laptop doesnt work with a bit of plastic... (glad wrap over my finger)

Do you have this alarm cjam? Is it good? I have recently just found myself in the market for a new alarm
