FTO servicing in Sydney

Post by FT-TRO »

Okay fellow FTO owners, My FTO is due for a general service soon and its the first time Im gonna service it.

I'm aware of three places in Sydney that specialise in servicing imports...

Uniqueautosports, Hills motorsports and Perfect Run.

Also, ultratune claim that they can service FTO's as well...

Just wandering if anyone has any positive or negative feedback from any of these guys.

I'm very wary of going to a place thats gonna give me the round around and try to find as much faults in the car possible enable for them to make money...

Any feedback would be great!...

thanks

Hi,
I had a major service done at Unique Auto Sports and I recommend them highly (as does Stephen Morrison the owner of this website). Off the top of my head I think they quote $195 + parts for a standard service. Please don't quote me on that though. Give them a buzz. They are very friendly and definitely know their stuff.

Cheers
Rob

I found out Taki at perfectrun is very helpful and has so much knowledge with all jap cars.
He even found out my original mitsubishi HID bulb from japan, which any other shops in sydney gave up
any question will be answered with resonablyand understandable
he works by himself at the moment so i'm happy with get serviced from him not like part-time or work-experience guy
if u get service from him tell him seong of white FTO send u

i had my car serviced at Sports car international @ Rushcutters Bay SHELL station. They are very honest and know the FTO inside out since his son, Nathan Pilkington, raced an FTO for years. Very reasonable price too.

Head down William St (away from the city towards Bondi) past the big coke sign and go through the kings cross tunnel, as you come out of the tunnel and head down the road on the left is a park and the Rushcutters bay yacht club, opposite that is the garage (on the right hand side of the road)..oposite Newbeach road?
