Thats pretty flash! So it just funnels thru that small hole when closed, then when open, takes the path of least resistance out the big hole?

yep got it in one ben
when its closed the gases, go up and down in chambers around the muffler 3 times before it goes out the little hole the result is its quieter than factory.. all you hear is engine noise.
onlything i dislike is the size... its so big.. you could put a baby.. or at least a rabbit into it.

Much cheaper than a cot.

Why illegal ??

Any device that can change the effectiveness of an emmisions device is illegal..
hence these...
went through and got them checked by some cops i know etc... as i really wanted a pair of these... but alas, they would not be solving my defect issues..

what about all the euros with butterfly valves in th zorst??

by nicholas
Probably something to do with the fact that the Euro's still comply with emission laws regardless of the position of the butterfly, whereas with this muffler it can either be legal or illegal depending on the position of the butterfly, thus it's defectable whether you have to valve fully open or fully closed.

sam and nicholas are correct anything that is easily changable is a defect. There are ones that have they butterfly up near the cat and are very hard to see. You would need to put the car on a hoist or pit to see it
