cant see, have to log on...but im assuming you just mea making the engine bay look shiny ;) if so, just get some polish spray i think its called armour something or other (thats the one i use) and it will make everything niec and shiny...
if you are talking about the manifold, u might have to sand off the dirt on it then polish it up with a buffer...im sure someone with myspace will be along shortly ;)

as said there is a lot of time (50 hours) and work in doing it :? but after its done looks great.
I am doing another one now but that is for another member :D
but after that I will be doing it all over again with another A.I.M. for who ever wants it. it comes with a small price of $200 and your old manifold oh and it has to be a GPX motor, as the GR one are not the same sorry :?

i just finished polishing my intake manifold for when the new engine goes in.

start by using a sandpaper drill attachment and go over the whole thing until fairly smooth and free of the tiny bumps that it has before you started.

then the hard bit....hand sanding, probably about a 1000 grit to get started and then fine wet n' dry to finish off.

then get a buffer drill attachment and beff 'er up.

it's a long process but the final result is well worth it.

well the only reason that I am not doing the GR's is due to I dont have one for it
If I had one then I can start doing them as well. Give me a little time and I will pick one up from the scrap yard some place and I will get on to it :D
