yea, comprehensive is ridiculous, u end up paying what you paid for the car in like 2 years, and im pretty sure its near impossible 2 find anything under 4gz in sydney, unless u have been driving for like 5 years. But if u can afford (i.e parents can afford) then its probably the best option to take i guess

How much driving experience do u have and have u got a clean record :?:

Not as clean as id like...im on my green's, but i got done 10k over goin down hill at 630am on my red's (right before my b'day  )... u'd no how easy that is to do

No accidents or anything, but still public enermy no.1 as far as the insurance companies are concerned

i cant see myself going better the 4k either

Hey guys.. I'm still a p plater and last year I finally insured the FTO in my name for the first time. I shopped around for quotes, RAA said $3500 a year.. thought no ways even though my parents really tried to convince me to do it!
I am in Adelaide but call Just Cars, they were the only ones who would insure my car, with the complete cover for my origional veilside kit (insured at 8k) and my carbon fibre hood (valued at 2k). My insurance is $1000 a year, full cover! If I don't claim from them for the entire year I go to a rating 1 :)
Good luck guys
