No, you just remove the old tip ECU. You dont need a manual ECU, there is no such thing.

You are the ECU for a manual

Nah, the ends that go into the gearbox are different. You can just change those bits, or you can get replacement drive shafts.
I might have the long driveshaft sitting in my shed down the coast. Ill have a bit of a look on the weekend when im up there.

Its called a Thrust Race Bearing, or Push Out Bearing. Will come with your clutch kit. Never use second hand thrust bearings.

That, my friend, is an airbag control module if I am not mistaken
You do need to remember to connect two wires from the gearbox during the conversion so the engine ECU is fooled into thinking the auto box is in PARK or it wont start the car.
I just cant remember which two at the moment

The only wiring that needs to be done is on the original gearbox loom (large black plug). You need to join the two bigger wires (black with yellow stripe and black with red stripe) together to fool the ECU into thinking its in park. And also you will need to wire in the reverse sensor to the red with blue stripe and black with yellow stripe (small wires), these are positioned next to each other.

Same sort of place as a maunal mate. Just ontop of the box near the front of the car. You'll see a plug with 2 wires going into it.

so i just pull them wires back into the car or take 2 wires out of the car after wiring them into those wires to trick the ecu?

so i still plug it into the gearbox or u cant on a manual or i plug it onto the gearbox and add 2 cables to those cables to go back into the tip ecu
