i need to get my car blue-slipped real soon, anyone had it done before?
do they check things like missing wheelwell splash guards? or are they more interested in things like engine mods, mechanical things, oil leaks etc?
any advice would be helpful, thanks

Take the car to someone you know...they will register without even checking the car...

I know i do !....but obviously get a service to make sure the car is actually safe to drive.

I've had a couple done over the years. Whilst they do the same mechanical inspection that you'd have done for a pink slip, I think you'll find they'll be more interested in matching numbers up. Like chassis number, compliance plates etc.

I've had to do about 3 Blue Slips.
Because i've been defected.
Anyway take it to your mechanic or if you have a friend thats a mechanic and everything should be fine from there. He'll check your car blah blah , he prob wont lol then give you blue slip take it to your RTA and DONE! have a good day
