mivec in 1st gear ? do you lot do it?

as the mapping of my car draws closer im just thinking on a drag strip , tack ect do you got to mivec in 1st gear is it safe?

Its safe

like in any gear as long as you dont over rev its fine but thats what limiters are for

Of course its safe, does your car come with a rev limiter at 6500 rpm in first? No, it doesnt, so you will be fine

I let mine PING 8,500 RPM!

With new OIL

MOTUL 5W 40 Performance Engine Oil.

umm ben thinks my car once i put the fto engine in it will still not keep up cause of the huge stereo so question to olly mate where did you get your turbo done on your car cause i need to put one on mine to keep up

And Oliver89, just to be pedantic, it WONT ping 8500 rpm because the rev limiter cuts in before that.
