Hey all,

Im seriously considering getting a set of Max' seat covers but at the moment having not sold my old car yet i cant afford to and ive been playing with the idea of making them myself but the only thing stopping me is the material.

Does anybody know where to buy the leatherette used in car upholstery?

Cheers to anybody who knows.

Its not just a lambswool throw rug with a bit of elastic round the edge (down Simon, I know, I know, I said lamb :hey: )

They are quite intricate. Save up your money for the real thing.

+1 .. Go with pre-made seat covers .. But I reckon if you want to have a go at re-upholstering your door trims & other things in the car .. maybe sun visors / dash speaker fabric / rear console armrest .. then I say go for it ;) worst that could happen is you have to rip it up ..
