hey guys my mate is looking for a new roof for his fto as he got rust in it does anybody now we can get one or how to fix it thanks

no need for a new roof. My rust was really bad and bubbles were comming through and was still fixed. Just get some1 who knows wtf they are doing.

Mine is good as gold now.

If you end up deciding you do want a roof, ive got 2 of them ive cut off just for that reason. No rust in either of them. Even if you just want to use them to replace bits of the roof, it would work.

Sorry, a bit OTT, bu I didn't think you could swap roofs and have a legal car?

If you can, two questions:

1. wouldn't it just be cheaper to get your roof repaired / resprayed?
2. if not, then why don't people do roof swaps to get sunroofs?

you can do whatever you want...just dont tell anyone. who the f**k is gonna know if u changed the roof if its dne correctly?

Agreed. Why dont people do roof swaps for a sunroof, you can but its gonna cost a F&*K load

I was thinking that youd cut the bits out you wanted rather than replacing the whole roof

a friend of mine is doing that an fto roadster the pic that was drawn looks stunning :D

a lot of work though to strenghten the car though 8O
