If you ever drive yourself with P's on or whatever ... as long as your driving yourself.
And happen to see police homos doing RBT's or some sh*t ... DRIVE INTO ANY DRIVEWAY, PARK YOUR CAR THERE AND WALK SOMEWHERE UNTIL COPS PEE OFF

Today i got just owned, let me share my story of stupidity ...
Going home from work had indicators on ready to turn left as the green light pops up ... SEE 3 COPS DOING RBT's like 50-80metres away ... i didnt think ahead and acted on impulse on being scared shitless and did a quick UUUeey ... drove away quickly, and the homos chased me and pulled me over and f**king had pepper spray next to my face and the 2nd cop wrist locked me and cuffed me (far ... they're rough as if im a serial killer) asked me why was i running away and i said "lost officer"
The dude asked am i on drugs or have i been drinking (WITH a lot OF CURSING AND AGRESSION IN TONE) i said no and the dude WHACKS me face on the side of my wonderful FTO giving me a bruise on the cheek and said "then why'd you run away" ...
The dude asked for my license and found out im on Learners took it into the car doing some crap on his laptop while other cop searching my boot and glovebox etc etc ...

Long story but anyways, heres what i copped
$609 for "unaccompanied learner"
$185 for "not displaying learners plate on vehicle"
$160 for "refusing to co-opperate"

and they holepunched my license and gave them back to me ...

when can i get my L's again does anyone know? :(

edit : man i make a lot of typos when pissed :?

I would say 3 months. But reading what you have wrote you have no1 to blame but yourself. What were you thinking driving by yourself on your L's?

i been working at Sizzlers for quite awhile now, and been driving to work for the past 3 months (myself with red P's displayed) ... just a regular night however unlucky but no one else to blame, should've continued driving instead :(

but yeah, do you reckon i can go and get new Learners after 3months? cause the cops didnt say sh*t besides "you dare drive home and we'll f**k you up mate" "go find a payphone and get someone to pick you up"

gave me 3 fine letter thingys ... but MANNN ... is this the way police are supposed to be? cursing and slamming my face into the car because he thought i was lying? bloody jerks gave me some dumb fine for not coopperating too ... like wtf -_-

well sh*t happens

Champ, get some cash together and speak to my solicitor ... He is a traffic specialist ... PM me (and if I don't reply leave a message here - as my PMs were screwing up the other day) ...

I am not going to jump on the band wagon of you should know better ... You seem to know what you did was wrong, so yeah ... You do have to realise though, that if you had of caused any accident, as you are technically un-licenced, no insurance would cover you for damage to you, yourself, and any property ....

Anywho ... Let me know how it all goes... But the last time I heard, your L's were a permit not a licnece ... So, I am not sure if that has changed ....

Yeah pretty stupid of me to be driving myself on learners, but you know my family are all busy and i dont plan on walking to work which takes close to 45mins .. soo you understand me ... back when we all had our L's it was extremely tempting to be driving yourself.

But its alright i can pay off the fines with own money that i saved up for a pair of Sparco Rev+ seats >.>

But just a caution to any viewers whos driving on Ls and thinking you'll get away, YEs you will but not all the time, just a caution to those whos been driving alone

And i'll ask my cousins about my license thingy, thanks for offering the help though mate :)

Bummer....thats police brutality for you....in saying that, you would have been better off just going through the rbt and them finding out that way. the reason they were brutal would have been because you tried to run. if you had gone to the rbt, you would have just got a fine for driving without a license, which nowadays, happens all the time. Dont worry about it mate, just pay off the fines, and im pretty sure its 3 months, cos its not really a suspension since its a permit. You'll be bbck on the street in no time.

ouch mate.. whatever you do, don't drive unlicenced or they will kick the crap out of you (*again*) if you're caught..

Chucking a U-turn when you see an RBT is the absolute worst thing anyone could do in the eyes of the cops.. aside from pulling over & swapping seats with the passenger ;)

Chances are that you might've just pulled through the RBT & not asked for a licence at all .. just breathalyzed & go on your way.. or waved through altogether without being checked..

I never drove alone when i was on my L's ... but i guess I didn't really have anywhere to go .. was still at school at the time :P
but I find cops hassle you more when you're on your L's & starting on P's .. I was tailed a few times & pulled over, breathalyzed & the whole bit for no reason while I was on my L's & P's .. Since then, I've only been pulled over once for "speeding" (I was going the usual legal limit on the Gold Coast Highway - but during Indy the speeds were lowered from 80 --> 40 or something) I've learned that if theres a cop car behind me I'll just pull over & let them pass me.. otherwise they will just sit back & wait for you to slip up .. going over the limit, forgetting to indicate or whatever & then throw the book at you.

Yeah think back i was pretty stupid and didnt think carefully at the time ... the bruises is only slightly black/purple ... but how they treated me was bullshi.... pull me over and ask for license is fair enough, why do they gotta cuff me and have a pepper spray next to my face

but yeah it was my fault though, deffinately learnt my lesson and telling my mates and people reading to think twice.

Well ... does anyone have an incident involving cops? and what happened :D
share some of your stories and let off some steam with me!

mate it doesnt matter what they thought you were doing.... yes pretty sus to be doing a U-turn next to the RBT, but that doesnt give them a right to abuse you. Id be taking photos and calling a lawyer immediately. Your an idiot for driving on L but you did and your dealing with the consiquences. But to be smacked in the face is against the law, you were not trying to assist arrest....were you?

So what its illegal to do a U turn any near a RBT... no

I have a few too many ... Just ask me on the next cruise ... Hehehehe ...

But I guess we are all young and stupid at some part of our lives... The main thing is to learn from you lessons....

Some of the things that have happened to mates of mine are pretty bad too ... But most of those guys have been on bikes and tried to run from the cops...

Buy a pushbike you lazy sod! i rode a pushie 35km each way to work for a month after i crashed my car, 45min walk would be nothing on a bike. I only paid $400 for my bike too.
thats sheer laziness,
You're lucky the cops got you before a Bentley Continental GT got you mate

Ok, I smell some serious bullshit here.

Cops would never do that to you unless you did some real f*cked up sh*t. There's no way in the world they're going to pull you over and get that aggressive and abusive over trying to get away from an RBT.

Did you try to get away from them? Or did you stop as soon as they came after you? I'm guessing you tried to get away.

I've been around a couple of incident in which cops got very serious but they still never treated me or any of my friends that way. The worst they ever did was push people up against cars and handcuff them, never punched or hit anybody in the face, and I can assure you this was a bit worst than doing a U turn away from an RBT (Oh and just in case you didn't know, it's illegal to do a U turn at a traffic light in NSW).

So you really must have done something wrong, because there really is NO way they'll treat you the way they did if you co-operated.

Secondly, you seem to think it's perfectly fine to drive on your L's, if you really didn't think it was right then you would have never done it in the first place (for 3 months??) and you're admitting this on a public forum, possibly making it worst for yourself.

People who get their Red P's are bad enough in the first few months and do plenty of stupid sh*t, and you're on your L's. It's people like you that make it worse for everybody else.

You have any idea how many people try to turn off into lanes or do U-turn to get away from cops? Don't expect people to feel sorry for you with these bullshit stories.

LOL hahaha good idea :D
But thats the last option i'd do if i got no transport to work :P

To think about it i deffinately learnt my lesson, wont be driving alone no more

and about the way they had me in wrist lock and cuffed me and slammed my face onto the side of the car was probably because i didnt answer them.
i dont think its worth it trying to hold action against what they did to me ... just that everyone goes through a bad/unlucky day and you gotta live with it

my perspective on police has changed!

edit : no honestly mate, after seeing the police cars did a u-turn then quickly sped off, they had the siren on and chased me down the highway (about 20secs with their siren on) and when they're right on my ass i pulled over and had to turn off the ignition walk out slowly then they dragged me to side of car and then started going agro ...

Anyone watched news the other night? ... some middle-aged lady went to pick up her son and his mate from a club, the police started to hit her son with their metal pole thingy and the woman jumped in and then she got beat the crap outta her (who saw her face? .. crazy) AND there was a dude video recording the incident on his phone, then got chased by to cops and pushed down to the ground and got his phone taken off him ... and the cops deleted the video that was originally on the young blokes phone.

Some police just bloody over do it, or purposelly do it cause they could even be racist :x

There have been tons of incidents where cops resort to agressiveness, i know for one my bro and his mates have had several mix ups with the cops even when sometimes when they were not doing anything wrong.

In my opinion these kind of police are the lowest level of society. And yeah, ive had incidents with them myself off the roads and they dont think twice bout taking out the back of your knees and holding u down (probably caus i was pissed and wouldn't stop telling em off, apparently ....)

But i think that sublime is correct in saying that what u did and people like u (like my brother haha, although i dont think he will be doing anything wrong anymore since he had a 1 year suspension for drag racing) are just making it worse for everyone else

In your case though unlucky, i can see uve learnt your lesson since uve said it like 10 times lol, but straight out it bullshit that they hit u
