I've got the Exedy sports, its pretty good. Only drama I have with it is on the drag strip, I tend to get plate bounce if I change gears too quick. Cant remember what I paid for it, was a few years back now.

A little. Next time its due for a change Im just gonna throw in the next rated up pressure plate. I'll stick with Exedy thou, just go for a 1 tonne plate as opposed to the 750kg'er I've got now. Its very nice to use on the street & it cops the nitrous without any problems.

Yeah I've heard decent things about them. Nitrous aye. How often do you go through a full bottle?? Also, from what I've read your engine has standard internals, how'd you reckon a mivec engine hold up with the same kit???

He went through 6 bottles in a day at the tracks

And I dunno about his "habits" when the bottle isn't in the car but in the backyard instead with a few mates ;)

Haha, nah its got a 'tainter' in car grade nos so ya cant inhale it, tastes like sh*t. What I need to do is rob a dentist, the medical grade is the good stuff... and can be used in the car :D

If I use it liberally on a day to day basis, I can usually get about a month out of a bottle.

Mivec motor should be fine with it, just need to keep an eye on the oil level so she doesnt spin a big end at high rpm.

Thanks buddy. I'm after something a bit more heavy duty than standard. Sports tuff clutches are rated being able to handle about double the cars power. Might just settle for the exedy's "pink bit" sports clutch kit

Did you have any luck finding this? I spotted a few going on UK eBay atm. One was 110 quid, shame the postage would be a killer.

Cheapest I found was $430....with some dumb percentage sale. Postage would definitly be a whore with getting one from the UK. f**king rego's due next month so looks like I'm gonna have to wait. The joys of being a uni student.......
