Due to age and wear and tear i.e heat, the main headlight sockets have been worn out and the plastic has cracked off. Hence sometimes, the lights dont turn on coz the bulb wont be tightly fit due the plastic and just messed up socket. Where can i get these sockets from?

Okay now the other problem, ive got the stock steering wheel with no airbag. and the clips inside the horn covering are broken (don't ask how).. And so how could i go on replacing them or fixing the problem because my horn doesnt work as it has no contact against the metal button thingo inside it. Maybe if i put in a metal rod between the casing and the button and press that it might fix it but thats just too dodgy! Help!

i had the same problem with my bulb socket, so i took it somewhere and he chucked it out and simply connected the wires straight to the bulb.

i really want to find a socket though coz it just seems dodgy.

Its only dodgy if he didnt solder it and just used tape. You can get connector from autobarn, super cheap, etc etc they are like a couple bucks

I had the same issue before, there are a couple of posts about this.

Try this site http://www.suvlights.com/product_info.p ... cts_id=124

I got them from the states and it cost me for a full set male and female around 15 buck delivered, i changed both front sockets and since i haven't had an issue, but don't forget to put some electrical grease as well ;)

Yeap i had a look at those options as well, then i had a look at my HB4 bulb and because of the connector burning and overheating, it had burnt the edges of the plastic on the globe as well, so i went and bought a new set of bulbs, this time not generic ( had enough of that crap), and bought a set of connectors as well! now one of my fog light bulbs have gone out, lol it's pretty frustrating!

What are those bulbs called again? H3's right?

Like the look of those H3 leds richy... think i'll order some of them!

Sorry for the slight hijack, by new lights that'll be going in soon have foglights, whereas my old ones didn't... what sort of bulb holders/gromets do the H3's have?

just bought a set of those LED H3's off ebay. I unscrewed the long screw holding the fog light assembly and then i pulled it out halfway, now the problem i have is that i can't seem to figure out how to disconnect the clip ( the one connecting the bulb socket to the power wire) i have done this before last year but now i just can't remember and don't wanna break anything...yet. lol
