I had factory HID actual lights but no HID in it, so i had to buy them too. I had the problem where the factory hole where the globe goes into was too big and i needed a adapter. So i bought a washer made from ....ah i dont know now lol but it slipped right onto the globe and made it that touch bigger. The factory HID lights use H1 Globes compared to normal HB4. my 2 cents :D

That is odd... it is supposed to be HB4 low, HB3 high, but you can get the HB3's to fit in the low slots as well with a minor mod (just puill the lug out of the centre of the cable plug.)

Sorry not understanding ya. See my pic above, the only way i see to modify to fit would be either somehow grind off some of the plastic to make the diameter smaller or pull out my whole light assembly and drill out the hole that the bulb goes through.

well if your HID currently have a H1 socket then you need to purchase lets say and HB3 or whatever bulb socket that would fit on the opening in your headlights, cut the socket from the ballast and replace with the new one and it should work. Also ensure you solder/ insulate the wires so your install doesn't suffer from moisture, etc
