ok i had a look and i now that it isint the power steering as i have had that replaced already and now when i hit mivec some times it doesn't kick in properly and bogs down then it kicks in . It is happening more frequently now, like i floor it get to mivec point and the noise changes to a really deep noise then back to the normal noise. I take my foot of the accelerator so i dont blow the damn car up haha. SO yeah it has only been happening since this pulley noise has come about

Tensioner, Alternator MD303884 4100Y (about $45)
Pulley, Valve Timing MD179597 3360Y (about $36)
These prices are for new genuine parts. This doesnt include commisson or postage, but will give you an idea of cost.

MIVEC is not controlled by a pulley. You're still not making any sense.
What is the pulley driving? Is it just an idler or tensioner pulley, or is it the air con/ alternator/ balancer/ power steering pump pulley?
Either way, a pulley wont f**k up MIVEC, thats computer controlled, its a camshaft thing, and there's no point trying to describe it to you at this point of time for obvious reasons.
