spark plugs

Hey guys my car is missfireing and ever since ive owned it ive never changed the plugs so i am going to start with replacing th plugs than the leads if it still miss fires any way being in the hoel of a town that i live inc i have to order the plugs in and they are $20 each does that sound right or am i being ripped off?

sounds about right if they're Iridium IX's or Platinum plugs ..

how can you tell the diffrence?

Ask for the part numbers post em up here and we can tell you. Failing that if you trust the person you are buying off just ask him and hopefully he wont lie but you will know when you see the box. Also remember most ppl only put 3 x iridium (or platinum) in the FTO's (rear bank) and put normal cheapies in the front bank

I have Iridium IX all round, works a treat.

Iridium plugs these days last as long as platinum ones and they perform
better also.

imo, change it all to iridium ix.

What eva floats your boat really. I personally also have iriduims all round but normal ones will do just fine and heaps of members run that setup with no worries as long as they are replaced regulary

Well that all depends on your skill level some would say piss easy and some would say hard. You just have to remove more stuff really.

I've just got normal cheapies all round .. no problems with it .. got some iridiums going in all round soon though

Depends how confident you are about removing the manifold and if you have the tube spanner.
