Hi guys, Hope you guys dont mind an old dude stickin his head in here.Im from newcastle and about to buy an fto,you might know it as nemo...Engine wise its quite stock with a pod filter, mandrel bent extractors,2&1/2"cat and exhaust(sound great).I called in to a local dyno shop to discuss the car and to ask about computer,he didnt think there would be much benefit and suggested i ask here on the forum. So what do you think, what sort of benefit am i likely to get with and ecu and what other engine mods (external, not ready to spend big money yet)would be likely to give good results.Cost and expected hp gain is the type of info im after.
Well I hope it all goes ahead.I have to sell a suzuki xl7 and a 1994 civic vti auto 1st.
Thanx guys
Gary

Hey mate WTTC, we definitly dont mind you sticking your head the more the merrier we say. IMO Definitly get a piggyback ecu you will gain somewhere round the 10-20kw mark gain (so ive been told) Cost you would be looking at anywhere from 1k-2.5k, thats for the piggyback install and tune. Apart from bigger throttle body or NOS i cant think of anything else that you could do externally for more hp. (but i am drunk so someone else may be able to help you.

WTTC Gary
as above a uni chip or somthing like that so you can do that fine tune, extractors if not already on it, full cold air induction (if not fitted yet).
thats all I can think of at this time of the morning

just got home from work.
