just got a rally spec short shifter from RPW along with the extractors.

when i look at it it seems exactly the same as the one thats in there at the moment, i understand that it is suposed to look the same due to it being an exchange unit but the throw on it seems to be the same as well.

is this normal?

will it be different once installed?

Once you hook up the linkages I'd imagine it'll be fine.

From memory the replacement 'frame' is taller than the original if that makes sense...

u mean the A frame stand that the shifter sits on to pivot.

yeah, think that was the main visual difference between the two... pretty damn similar to look at.

it's awsome. the only thing that i would like different is the fact that the gear stick is still the same height as before.

but the shifts are so quick now, going from 2nd to 3rd is like a straight movement
