recently aquired a front bar.. (thanks dan)

just wondering if anybody had modified the stock front bar..
and what have they done to it.

i was thinking somthing along theese lines..
i am the worst ever person to use paint.. and dont get me started on photoshop

Image

for starters the badge is comming off and getting smoothed over

secondly. i want to cut that middle bar out. neaten the sides
mesh it up.. and use a L bracked on the bottom of the bar to hold my number plate..

thats the car at the moment.. any other idea's guys?

in that second pic...are you sure your cars front bumper is connected properly ? cos there seems to be a big gap in between your bonnet and front bumper...

no its not connected properly..
the bar is rooted..
has a big crack thu it.

i think the rear of my car is pretty agressive

was told by a heap of body placex when i asked about this... they said its hard to get a good bond to the OEM plastic with either Fibreglass or bog...

Ended up just buying a new bar as it was cheaper than all the quotes i had...

i love the double cannon...cant get over it...your idea seems ok...you could always buy a bozz front bar, and it would add the effect your trying to get with the standard.

humm i know a guy who knows a guy (wow how corny does that sound)

who said he can do it for me.. for a very good price..

i dont really want a bozz bar as i just paid the money for this one lol

if not i guess i can just bog the badge up and be done with it lol

Yeah you can paint cars chrome but what i have read its an absolute nightmare. I was considering this before i got mine painted and beside the probabilty of it not being legal most panel beaters wont even consider taking this on (or havent even heard of it being done). There was an article by some guy doing his in melbourne or sydney, cant remember what type of car but there is also a thread on this website about it. heres another taste. i think it looks wickkkkeddd

Theres heaps on the net about it

Just let me know what you want done and i can get it done for you.

Not too sure how it will look with such a large cutout and heaps of mesh.

I say just bog the badge up for now but, all up to you.

+1, get rid of all badges except the FTO at the back IMO
