Sticker Removal

My "Mitsubishi" and "GPX" stickers are fading at the back so i want to try and take them off, but they seem to be like embedded into the paint or sometime. Do you guys know how i can strip them off and where i could buy new ones?

i scratched mine up pretty badly when i did cos i used a blade...but im sure the right way to do it is...if you can get one part of it off the car, get a fishing line under it and it should peel straight off...another alternative would be to heat it up with a dryer (correct me if im wrong) and it should peel off pretty easy cos the glue will melt.

Bloody hard work getting mine off, it'd almost seemed to have melted into the paint, but keep at it and very much worth it.
Hot water, and seem to remember using a cutting paste and a rag to work at it as well... although the paint needed a bloody good polish after!

I've taken all but the Mivec stickers off my car, and am thinking about taking them off too.
Used hair-dryer, works a charm except it burns your fingers lol.
Last resort is petrol, make sure you wash the area and then polish again after you do that, it's pretty brutal stuff.

once you have them off i reccomend leaving them off and not replacing them.
it looks better without them.

and if theres any sticky residue use eculuptus oil (cant spell the sh*t that koala's eat)

hair dryer, credit card and some turps to get rid of the residue. Then give it a good polish

ah yes, the good old credit card trick works pretty well, although make sure it's an old one...

So just constantly using the hairdryer on it at high heat and it should start coming off? then just scraping it with a credit card or rubbing it off with a rag? Would this wreck the paint work or anything and is there anything i need to do for prep?

give the hairdryer a go, keep pouring kettle of near boiling water of it, and have a go with a credit card. Shouldn't take much more than that. Be brave!
Any minor scratches or dulling of the paint can soon be taken out with a bit of polishing.
