Hunting problems??? Could be cat temp sensor. Is it on all the time or comes on at a certain point?

it's at the bottom of the left side. it's red and it resembls a picture of a cat with heat coming off it.
it comes on when the cat gets too hot. however ever since i got my new exhaust installed it stays on all the time now.
i figure it is probrably because of the high flow cat or not being wired in correctly.

Thats right maggsy, but a high flow cat shouldnt casue the light to stay on unless the installer hasnt connected it back up (or incorrectly as you stated)

It's just a temp sensor for the cat.
A lot of cats don't have a fitting for the sensor, and usually it's left disconnected which is why the warning light comes on. Quick and easy solution is to simply ground the sensor.

Oh really ??
I'll have to change it to a blue LED bulb and make sure it permanently stays on my dash as that looks cool.

HUNTING is when the car has a fluctuating rev at idle say the revs will fluctuate from eg 850- 1100 noticeably...
