snapd bolt

HI all i was trying to remove my fun front bumper and i removed teh first screw and then decided agrhhh f&k this don't want to do it anymore so whe ni put the bold back in and tightened i snapped t eh ehad off the bolt its the bolt cicled with the red circle.Now my quesiotn is is that alright does there need to be a bolt there, teh bottom half is stuck in where is screws in to and the top half of hte bolt snaped off do i need it in there is it safe to drive with it not in there?

isn't that the radiator bracket?

if that happened to me i would be getting a new bolt, just in case ;)

thats just the tutorial i got from completefto and boltA you had to remove its onl about 1.5cm long so it wouldnt have that much stress on it i think.How a m i oging to remove that snaped bols thats in there try drill in to the bolt?

:lol: I just did exactly the same thing to the exact same bolt..... and its not for the radiator its for the front bar and if you've got your other bolts screwed down tight enough it shouldn't move around too much.

Going to bunnings next weekend to pick up a couple of new bolts (might as well replace the other one) and drill the old one out. If you havent done it before go slow and use a small bit and work your way up until you fully drill it out or until you can get something in there (screwdriver, allen key ect) to screw it out
