If you haven't got a CAMS or Wakefield licence, you'll need $50 for that, then $110 for the track time.

wakefield is a racetrack down in Goulburn for off-street racing. If you want to see what your car can really do, this is the place to do it. Or you can just watch if you're a wuss.

If there are a couple of you guys down there I might cruise down to watch, though I'm not sure my wallet or my driving skillz are up to doing it myself

i'll try. what time are you planning on leaving? is there somewhere we can meet up to go down?

by Bennoz
I've got a few players coming, coupla mates, the old man & his mini of course. I believe fto617 is also going down in his EVO too, so there'll be a few kids there.
Im leaving Chatswood at 7am. Its a bit hard to sorta divert course from there cause I head straight into the tunnel & onto the Eastern Distributor & M5 from there, but if you wanna come northside somewhere to meet I can do that.

sounds like a plan! dirtbike helmet is ok i hope?! long sleeve shirt and jeans also i'm guessing? how does your car cope with a day of thrash? Nicholas, I nominate you to film so we can put up the vids on the site!

As long as its ADR approved you should be sweet. And yep long sleeves & jeans. It'll be self scrutineering, so I normally just take all the crap out of the car like the sub, spare tyre & jack etc. Car copes ok, you tend use a bit of juice & a fair bit of rubber will come off the tyres. Last time mine got a bit hot, so I've made sure the coolant levels are up.

Sensational day!!

Thoroughly destroyed one of my CV joints, my rear tyres, $60 bucks worth of BP Ultimate & $50 bucks worth of ET 102 octane race juice!
Got the best times in too, you took line honours with a 1:18.17, I wasn't too far behind with a 1:18.66.
The best my old man could manage in the mini was a 1:21:42 - but he managed that without a clutch!
Will upload the pics & vids shortly
