Basically i have been thinking of a new leather trim to the interior of the car....i was thinking of the seats as well as the roof...basically the whole interior...(may include dash...dont know what it would look like)...but was thinking a white leather interior...does anyone know how much this would cost for the entire car...not only the seats ? ( i did a search and only saw rresults for seats, not roof etc..)

i got quoted about $1k for everything not including the seats or dash, and thats not with vynl/leatherette.
and abotu another $1k to get the dash removed and.... i think he said coloured/painted to white.
that was a real rough quote, the guy just had a quick look at my car, and i told him i wanted to keep all the original textures.

doesnt have to be real....just something that looks nice and looks like leather...
8-12k is INSANE ! i wasnt expecting that much...i guess i got a couple yrs of saving ahead of me...

wouldnt light and heat be concentrated on the dash and headlining (thru the roof)? that would make the leather crack real quick, unless you moisturise it every week!

and dont do white on the dash and pacel shelf. if you do u wont be able to see out in day light

i guess not....i will prob just do seats and roof then...especially since i do not like that fabric on the roof...and it feels as if it is soon to start peeling off. any ideas about the roof in particular how much it would cost ? Cos i have seen the leather seat cover stuff on this site, and they look pretty sweet...and im really considering a purchase.

Give Max (mysxy) a PM - He can get Proper Leather seat covers made up as well, not just Leatherette - not sure what grade of leather it would be though, but he said its quality stuff.. will cost you about $1200 for those..
You can get as much spare material as you like to do the rest .. But if you're not going to do it all yourself you're going to have to go to an upholsterer anyway, so theres not much point asking on here just get a quote for it.. for the whole car, you won't get much change from 5k .. but like Sam said, it might cost you more than that..
If you just want the seats, doors & the rest of the cloth parts replaced with leather, it will cost you between 2k-3k
If you're going to attempt doing it yourself, you'd better learn how to sew. You'll have to sew the roof lining cause I don't think you'll be able to find a large enough piece of leather to do the whole thing.. you're much better off using leatherette for everything but the seats.. but keep in mind that a few of the UK guys have done that & complained that it gets too hot..
If you want it to look professional you'll have to sew the doorcards as well.. again, better off using leatherette
If you're going to try to sew it yourself, get some el'cheapo vinyl from spotlight for $9.99 per metre and practice with that.

I'm a fan of the ribbed look ... but not so much the ruffles..
.... but .... the GF has just told me that you need the ruffles there otherwise the seams will burst when you lean back into the seat .. & she reckons that it would look better in black. I agree.

(not a fan of the ruffles myself... especially on the door cards!!!

i gotta get in on those front seats...i kind of agree with the back seats looking untidy...but basically the front seats all around is what i reckon looks hot ( the back looks similar - but it has more ruffles then the front.(i think)..)
thanks for posting the pics...
